Winter in Mallorca - George Sand

I remember it was these two who first introduced me to the ideas of A. Visting another part of the world that wasn't your home for long periods of time. and B. How to have a crazy, tumultuous affair with a genius (both of whom did, with each other). I have done one of those things, and not saying which. I remember loving George Sand the moment I understood who she was, and what she did, and her personal life became as interesting as her writing. This is a nice, older copy in great shape.
