Love. This. Book. I remember years ago someone coming by a book show of ours at Grand Central Market in DTLA and pointing at this book and saying 'you must read this.' As if I hadn't (I hadn't), and it somehow felt like a scene in a movie. If you love San Francisco, stories about crazy families with particular emphasis on an unstable-ish mother, skateboarding, and 80's references, all of these things will point you to this story, Sean's story.
