Oh I so remember reading this when I became a teacher and longed to exude the cool of Miss Jean Brodie. I don't think I succeeded, but her hutzpah stuck with me. And then the movie with Maggie Smith?! Be still my heart this is such a great character/story. *This cool copy from the UK, a small paperback, like new.
