New-found favorite! Written in 1971, feeling just as fresh and new as when it came out. The story of a newly widowed woman in a London retirement hotel who meets a young handsome writer. Nuanced and complex with the daily details of English society, in a particular place, at a particular time. Sign me up! We're happy to hear Taylor's voice being described as 'a lost (and found) treasure. Glad to have another copy of this unearthed classic, and a nice copy found in Berlin.
