Morte D’Urban - J. F. Powers

I know you're not supposed to fall for the book cover, but this one is gorgeous. People are in all sorts of love with this story about a priest and how he moves through the world. Published in 1962, Powers won the National Book Award in 63' with this one. The New York Review of Books got a hold of this one and created one of their gems. I love discovering new authors and this is one of them. A pretty new copy, perfect for your NYRB collection.
