ohhh, dear Mr. Kundera. This was my first of yours to have read and I loved it and you forever, even if I didn't understand a gdamn word I was trying to impress my father, which we'll never know if I did. There are some 'philosophical underpinnings' to this story, as well as a lot of sex if I remember correctly. Very European. A nice copy of this 'famous cover'
