Man on Wire - Philippe Petit

Oh my gosh I bawl my eyes out anytime I even think about this story. It is so significantly powerful in so many ways. Philippe! That exuberant Frenchman who reminded us of why and how much we loved the Trade Center, and New York City. The beloved Twin Towers! And then... the unspeakable. The story resonates on so many levels and of course the film based on this book is extraordinary as well. Can you imagine trying something like that today? This is a nice copy with just a bit of shelf wear.
