Absolutely loved Yang's American Born Chinese, and this historical fiction of the Boxer Rebellion of 1899 brings the same style and heart to the topics that Yang so movingly portrays. The other side of this historical coin is his book Saints, which we don't have in, yet. Gently read copy.
