Cold Comfort Farm - Stella Gibbons

Way up there on the Orphan Lit. charts - Gibbons' 1932 satirical novel follows stylish orphan Flora Poste as she makes her way into the hearts and barns of an eccentric Sussex farming clan. High Camp, this one, with a great film adaptation in 1995. It's a British classic, and this copy is a joyful edition with the Roz Chast, cover artwork. Delightfuly fun.
