For the love of oysters, the diamonds of the foodie set, those rare gems of culinary opulence, this is a fun book and it's shiny like a you know what. The essays cover every aspect of oysterisms, as well as some fun recipes that I would never have known existed. I enjoyed it, the singular style of Fisher, who I am forever jealous of with her '3' initials + a last name. Picked this up in Berlin, then almost went for oysters but the place was closed. Slim volume, new copy.
