Girl, Woman, Other - Bernardine Evaristo

Love this one by Evaristo, a kind of 'fusion fiction' (a term I recently learned, that defies traditional classification. A milage of contemporary London characters, some related, most not, share their intertwining stories, with a family backstory that sounds familiar, but not, but does. Winner of the Booker Prize in 2019, this was one of our favorite 'quarantine books,' which will surely become a thing as well, right? Great UK copy.
