Poet in New York - Federico Garcia Lorca

Ahh, this one! This bilingual body of poems proves that New York literature is World literature. I don't know how he does it, but Lorca manages to capture New York City in all its beautiful ugliness right at the edge of the Depression, that still sing (and sting), to us today. Considered one of his most important works.
