Ted Hughes - poems selected by Simon Armitage

We know he's great, he won every single poetry award in the known universe, Order of Merit, I believe? Given to him by the queen, and was appointed poet laureate in 1984, a position he held for the rest of his life. Everything he touched he turned into words, and lots and lots of people admired him greatly. But I still want to know what happened with him and Sylvia. So it's hard for me to love him like Others do, but that's more a personal thing, not about his writing which is undoubtedly deep, and ultimately passionate. This is a faber poetry series edition, like new from the U.K.
