The Slap - Christos Tsiolkas

Ah Gawd this is a great book! Wasn't it turned into a TV show? Was it? Because if not it should have been. The setting: a warm night in Australia (Sydney?) at a backyard BBQ of friends when somebody 'slaps' a child who isn't their own. Discuss.                          Whew! This was a rough one, but dang it has such great questions, twists, turns, etc. - no wonder it was turned into a TV show, wasn't it? Like new copy, but its older.
