Ah! So glad to have a copy of this 1976 novel, an anachronistic take on the last years of the Civil War. We can only imagine. Was a hit in the bicentennial year of its publication, and referenced by contemporary writers such as Colson Whitehead of Underground Railroad fame (also highly recommended). New copy via Paris.
